Notification Settings
Notification Types
LodgeX PMS sends automated notifications to keep you and your tenants informed:
- Rent Reminders — Sent to tenants a few days before rent is due as a courtesy reminder.
- Late Payment Notices — Sent to tenants when a payment is overdue. Managers also receive a notification so they can follow up.
- Lease Expiration Alerts — Sent to managers when a lease is approaching its end date, giving you time to arrange a renewal or find a new tenant.
- Work Order Updates — Sent to tenants when their maintenance request status changes, and to managers when new requests are submitted.
- Payment Confirmations — Sent to tenants when a payment is received, whether via ACH or manually recorded.
Configuring Notifications
Navigate to Settings > Notifications to control which notifications are active. You can enable or disable each notification type independently.
Delivery Methods
All notifications are delivered via email to the recipient's registered email address. The sender address is your organization's configured email (powered by Resend).
Tips
- Keep rent reminders enabled to reduce late payments.
- Lease expiration alerts give you a 30-day heads-up by default, which is usually enough time to discuss renewal with the tenant.
- Tenants appreciate timely work order updates — make sure those notifications stay active.
