Estimated Property Values

LodgeX PMS can display estimated market values for your properties using data from RentCast, a real estate data provider. These estimates help you understand your portfolio's total value and make informed decisions.

How It Works

When a property has a complete address, LodgeX PMS can request a valuation estimate from RentCast. The estimate includes:

• Estimated Value — The approximate market value based on comparable sales and property characteristics.
• Rent Estimate — A suggested monthly rent based on similar properties in the area.
• Last Updated — The date the estimate was last refreshed.

90-Day Refresh Cycle

Valuation data refreshes automatically every 90 days to keep estimates current without excessive API usage. You can also manually trigger a refresh from the property detail page if you need an updated estimate sooner.

Portfolio Analytics

The Portfolio page aggregates valuation data across all your properties, showing total estimated value, average rent per unit, and value trends over time. This is particularly useful for owner reporting and investment analysis.
