Owner Statements

What Are Owner Statements?

Owner statements are monthly financial summaries sent to property owners. They show all income and expenses for the owner's properties during a given period, along with the net amount owed to the owner.

Generating a Statement

  1. Navigate to the Statements page from the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Select the owner and the billing period (month/year).
  3. Review the automatically calculated income (rent collected) and expenses (maintenance, management fees, etc.).
  4. Click Generate to create the statement.

Sending Statements

Once generated, you can:

  • Email the statement directly to the owner from within LodgeX PMS.
  • Download a PDF copy for your records or to send manually.

Statement Contents

Each owner statement includes:

  • Property name and address
  • Itemized income (rent payments received)
  • Itemized expenses (work orders, management fees, etc.)
  • Net amount due to the owner
  • Running balance if applicable

Tips

  • Generate statements on a consistent schedule (e.g., by the 5th of each month) so owners know when to expect them.
  • Review statements before sending to ensure all expenses are properly categorized.
