Getting Started

Adding Your First Property

Adding a Property

To add your first property, navigate to the Dashboard and scroll to the "Add Property" section at the bottom of the page. You can also use the + Add Property button near the top.

Required Fields

  • Property Name — A friendly label such as "Maple Street Apartments" or "123 Oak Ave". This is how the property appears throughout the app.
  • Address — The full street address including city, state, and ZIP code. This is used for reports, owner statements, and tenant communications.
  • Property Type — Select from Single Family, Multi Family, Condo, Townhouse, or Commercial. This helps organize your portfolio and is used in valuation estimates.

After You Add a Property

Once the property is created you will be redirected to its detail page. From there you can add units, set estimated values, and assign property owners. Properties with no units will show a prompt to create your first unit.

Tips

  • Use consistent naming conventions so properties are easy to find when you have many in your portfolio.
  • You can edit property details at any time from the property detail page.
  • If a property is no longer managed, you can archive it instead of deleting it to preserve historical data.
